uisa Geo Biogás

Localizated at Nova Olímpia (MT), the unit is the result of a joint-venture between uisa Group and Geo bio gas&carbon. Pioneer project in the State, has an installed electricity capacity of 5 MW and 31,200 Nm³/d of biomethane, marketed by trailers to industrial customers in the region. The raw materials of the plant include, in addition to vinasse and filter cake from uisa, a biomass source, which denotes the innovative project character. The project, which is in the final construction stages, is expected to start biogas production in 2024.
